How to build The A-Team!
In 1972, a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn’t commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum-security stockade to the Los Angeles underground.
Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem… if no one else can help… and if you can find them… maybe you can hire… The A-Team.
Going through the uniqueness of one and only (original) “The A-Team” from the 1972 TV show – I’ll try to identify what made them so successful and which elements we need within our modern IT world.
I’ll identify the most important aspects of a successful and well-performing Teams as well as those that are very destructive and unwanted.
All examples will come first hand from experiences and what I observed building, and being a part of Teams within NewVoiceMedia DevOps.Some were and still are very successful while other failed miserably. It’s all about the culture, environment and the right people.
Getting that knowledge will help you work within your own teams no matter of a background you come from.
You can be a Scrum Master, a Developer, a Tester or any other role within any kind of organisation – with my guidelines you’ll make your everyday work easier and more fun.
I’ll help you understand the most important dynamics of a Team and how to drive those for success.
You can be sure that after this talk if you still have a problem… if no one else can help… maybe you can build… The A-Team!
